Dr. Hsaing estimates of terminated workers is way understated. For nurses alone, I calculated a minimum of 9.7% of the nurses workforce, ballpark 4800.
Great info Lex. I am in finance myself and my wife is an RN. we moved to BC as the mandate was taking effect so she has never worked a day in BC. We moved from the NWT. I know the people in the PHO up North were against any mandates from the outset and their argument was they were going to lose staff with any mandates and that is the opposite of what you want to do in a pandemic when you are already short staffed. The push came from the Minister of Health and I suspect from Federal Government tying up transfer payments to the NWT government. Not everyone is as psychopathically crazy as in BC. In the NWT they lifted the mandates for the Government workers pretty quickly and have lifted the mandates for healthcare workers quietly. In 2020 there were virtually no cases and no deaths. Starting in spring/summer 2021 after the vaccines cases and deaths exploded, it was obvious too anyone with common sense that the vaccines didn't do anything and in fact did more harm than good.
We saw the Darkhorse Podcast with Dr Malone and Steve Kirsch in the summer of 2021 and my wife decided she wasn't going to take the jab, even if it mean losing her job.
The NDP government in BC always like to claim that 98% did the right thing and chose to get the vax. If there were no mandates in effect it would be more like 33%-40%. Your estimate of 9.7% of nurses lost sounds more reasonable. It is the low end. Yes a lot of nurses resigned /retired before the mandates. Or maybe there are others like my wife sitting in BC without the ability to work as an RN.
They lost some at the time the mandate took effect but there was continued attrition that is still ongoing because of the deteriorating workplace conditions with the nurses that are left...
It is as Ed Dowd says, a total crime scene and the NDP are doubling down on the narrative. Most places are quietly trying to make us forget about everything they did the last three years and sweep the vaccine push under the rug and not talk about it anymore. The truth will eventually get out and Dix, Henry and Eby are game of chicken with them being the last to enforce any sort of mandates, they could be the centre of attention if the FDA ever decides to save themselves and throw Pfizer and Moderna under the bus and remove the mRNA products from the market.
It is probably 50/50 chance they mandate is removed by the judge in this weeks hearing.
Thank you Lex. Watching the stats on Turbo Cancers I can confirm at least 2. Michelle's husband, mother of 2 under 5, Rare Turbo Cancer 40. Kate's Sister, Rare Turbo Cancer (Dr. said it was genetic) Mother of two under 12. My Uncle - Overnight stay in hospital, my Aunt coming to pick him up the next morning - 8:30am Cardiac arrest and could not be resuscitated...Dead. My family (in medicine) still in denial. We must remove the NDP Government in BC. I hope our Grassroots Conservative party can do this. The future depends on it. Canvassing in Sooke Yesterday with Marina. I’m vaccine injured. I didn’t want to take the shots but had to work. 2 shots of Pfizer & now they say I have Polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) is an disorder that causes widespread aching, stiffness and flu-like symptoms. It is more common in women than men and is seen more often in Caucasians than other races. It typically develops by age 70 and is rarely seen in people younger than 50.
I’m not 50 till November.
My mobility was excellent & now I’m on my 3rd round of prednisone. :(
This is a brilliant article and very shareable. Thanks. Not sure how I received it in my inbox but I must have read a previous article of yours that was cross posted by one of the substackers I subscribe to. Unfortunately I'm not able to pay for a Sub. I've recently spent a bit too much on supporting various worthy groups.
I am also a life long BC resident but my husband and I saw through the propaganda pretty close to he beginning. I had lots of interesting observations from the beginning months of this virus "rollout" locally. My husband and I had parents who literally escaped from the iron curtain so we both seem to have inherited a sense about government lies and I've always questioned things. I was shocked that very few around me questioned and instead seemed to be in a trance. The government's actions and people's reactions were much more frightening to me than the possibility of illness.
I follow the court case by the BC group of doctors called CSSEM. Your wife made the right choice and if a sizeable group had done the same, I wonder if the gocernment would.have backed down. Likely not as they rolled.out Bill 36 and are still denying the reason for the shortages in staff in healthcare. Dr York Hsaing believes BC is missing 6000 staff as about 2500 were fired but the rest either took early retirement or moved to work in a region that has removed the mandate.

You can read that one: https://freedomandinvesting.substack.com/p/at-least-4762-97-missing-nurses-because
Support workers, facilities workers, technicians, etc. not included in my estimate.
From an economic perspective, it’s a minimum of 10% of all the workers who didn’t comply and were fired.
The state of Maine lost 13% and that’s a heavily jabbed state.
Soon, I’ll shift gear from writing about corruption to writing about investing with a view of the consequences of the pandemic and global geopolitics

Hey Lex
Good work. I just note that John's name is John O'Looney, not John O'Lonney.
See you soon
